Our History
Procreate Foundation
Christian Perez, MD, FACOG has helped families through reproductive challenges for over 20 years. Throughout his career, he has found creative solutions for financially burdened patients who desire nothing more than to welcome children into their families. To further his goal of helping as many people as possible, Dr. Perez opened Procreate Fertility Center of Virginia in 2016 with a simple mission: to provide premium patient care while keeping overhead costs low so that more families may be served. Procreate Foundation represents an expansion of that mission to fertility centers throughout Virginia.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide solutions for women and men facing the challenges of reproduction and to help more people achieve their family goals. Procreate Foundation exists to direct financial assistance to individuals who require fertility treatments. We firmly believe that everyone, regardless of economic status, deserves the chance to become a parent.
Vision Statement
We envision a society in which the dreams and plans of attaining a pregnancy using Assisted Reproductive technology are not hindered by financial reasons.

Why Procreate Foundation Exists
Because we believe everyone deserves a chance to become a parent
We started the Procreate Foundation in 2020 to connect patients with generous individuals and organizations who believe, as we do, that everyone deserves a chance to become a parent.
- Although over 10% of the population struggles with infertility, fertility treatments are rarely covered by insurance. The majority of infertility patients are self-pay, and depending on the plan of care, one in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle averages $20,000 or more, not including medications and other charges.
- Some patients require more than one cycle to become pregnant, so for many families, the cost quickly becomes insurmountable and family building seems unattainable.
